Foundation Society

Donors who give $1,000 and above are considered members of the Foundation Society.

Foundation Society Giving Levels:

  • $1,000 – $2,499 Bronze
  • $2,500 – $4,999 Silver
  • $5,000 – $9,999 Gold VIP
  • $10,000 and above Platinum VIP
Friends of the Foundation

Donors will become Friends of the Foundation with gifts under $1,000.

Memorials and Honorariums

Donors can make a gift to the Community Foundation in honor or in memory of a family member or loved one. (Note: Please indicate who this gift is in honor or in memory of in the “Additional Information”.

Legacy Society

Florida Keys Future Fund

The Florida Keys Future Fund supports grants to local nonprofits throughout the Keys in all areas, including the arts, environment, healthcare, recreation and more. This grant making fund is truly the power of collective giving in action.

  • Unsung Heroes — Nonprofit Volunteer Recognition

The annual Unsung Heroes/Volunteer of the Year Luncheon recognizes volunteerism in the Florida Keys. All nonprofit organizations are invited to nominate an individual to receive a certificate of recognition for their unpaid contributions to their organization during the past year.  Click here for more information.

  • Leadership Success Academy

The Leadership Success Academy (LSA) provides specific leadership and governance skill building programming and activities to board members and CEOs of local nonprofit organizations. This certification program focuses on Leadership Assessment and Servant Leadership, Roles and Responsibilities of Board and Staff, Financial Literacy, Fundraising and Development, and Strategic Planning and Change Management. Click here for more information.

  • Funds and Endowments 

CFFK provides agency fund and endowment management services and can accept a variety of types of gifts, including stocks and on-line donations to all funds under management. Call 305-292-1502 to speak to a representative or schedule an appointment.

  • Center for NonProfit Excellence

Modeled after successful nonprofit center programs across the country, the mission of the Center for NonProfit Excellence (CNPE) is to provide a wide range of resources and services that strengthen and support the leadership and management of nonprofit organizations located in the Florida Keys through best practices.

  • Workspace and Conference Room

A private conference room is available for small group meetings of up to 8 people, located at the CFFK offices in Key West. Call 305-292-1502 to schedule. This resource was made possible by the donation of office space by Doug and Linda Walker of Walker Key West Properties Four and by a grant from the J. Jefferson Overby Charitable Fund.

  • Resource Library 

Online resources, such as reports, forms and sample policies, are available  here. Printed resource materials, including the Corporate Giving Directory, publications such as the Chronicle of Philanthropy, and topical information on board development and nonprofit management, are available at the CFFK offices. Call 305-292-1502 to schedule an appointment. This resource was made possible by a grant from the Porter Advised Fund.
